Thank you for your interest in joining Peers REACHing Out [PROs], an undergraduate student cohort of the Ohio State University Suicide Prevention Program [OSUSPP]!
*NOTE: This application includes a brief essay at the end. Applications will not be reviewed until all parts are completed.
PROs provides OSU students with an exciting opportunity to be a part of something that really matters. Students selected for this program will have the opportunity to become campus leaders in mental health promotion, develop sought-after professional skills, and will work as part of a team to educate fellow students using advanced knowledge of the REACH training program. We are interested in identifying students who want to make a difference and are both willing and able to commit time each week to doing just that.
Please complete the following questions by April 25, 2025, to be considered for Peers REACHing Out 2025-26. PROs train to become trainers the entirety of the Fall semester and start conducting trainings during the Spring semester. Because of this, we are looking to accept students who will have at least another two semesters as a part of PROs (i.e. graduating SP 26 and beyond).
For more information on PROs, visit our page at: https://suicideprevention.osu.edu/student-involvement/pros
**NOTE: PROs is an undergraduate cohort therefore we are only accepting undergraduate students at this time. If you would like to be a graduate/faculty/staff trainer, email: suicideprevention@osu.edu
