The Future Is Now: Assessment in the Age of Technology
The impact of technology and other advances on the higher education landscape is everchanging. From the growth of online education to the rapid use of generative AI, higher education has had to evolve and adapt to these technologies. However, what impact have these advances had on assessment? For this year’s conference, we invite proposals that explore the “new age” of assessment in higher education. Proposals can explore any aspect of assessment, whether it be student learning assessment, program evaluation, or survey data. In particular, the committee is interested in proposal on generative AI use and distance/online education.
