The Ohio State University Libraries is one of many higher education institutions across Ohio working on migrating its Library Services Platform (LSP) as a member of OhioLink. LSPs encompass both the user-facing discovery of our many resources as well as the fiscal management of our acquisitions processes. The University Libraries’ technical migration to the new system begins on March 28th 2025 and ends June 25th, 2025.  

During this period, if you need access to a specific book, please fill out an Interlibrary Loan request. If you fill out the Recommend a Purchase form during this period, we will move forward with the purchase after June 25th, 2025.  

If you have an urgent request for a course reserve, necessary research material, or a title with limited availability, please note this when filling out the Recommend a Purchase form. Course reserve requests for the summer semester must be submitted by May 16th, 2025. We will continue to license streaming media resources during the transition, but access to new titles may be provided via direct links rather than the University Libraries catalog.
