Policies:
There are restrictions limiting how much business and/or accounting transfer credit can be applied to your BSBA degree requirements or to any of the academic minors offered through Fisher. Course review considers not only content covered but depth of coverage, instructional time with faculty and delivery model.
The business major program curriculum consists of business foundation, core and courses from the selected business specialization.
- A maximum of 3 semester hours of transfer credit may be accepted and applied toward a business specialization. After you are enrolled at Ohio State, taking specialization courses at another College or University should be considered in unique situations only. Please consult with your academic advisor.
- All courses that are part of the State of Ohio’s current and approved Transfer Assurance Guide (TAG) will be accepted as stipulated by the current articulation.
- Transfer credit for business foundation, core, specialization and academic minors will only be considered if completed at an AACSB accredited institution OR international institutions that are undergraduate exchange program partners with the Fisher College of Business. Course completed at an AACSB or exchange program partner institution are not guaranteed equivalency.
- Business courses completed at non-AACSB institutions or international institutions that are not Fisher undergraduate exchange partners will be considered for special elective credit only.
Results for your evaluations are e-mailed to your OSU e-mail account. It can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks for a course to be evaluated and the results reported to you.
All submissions are due by the fourth Friday of the semester. All late requests may NOT be evaluated before enrollment appointments open. Please plan accordingly.
