This survey is for submission of an image to be considered for use in the puzzle competition displayed on the Indoor Air 2024 website. Images should highlight recent research/findings related to indoor environmental quality. Be creative! Example images include overview figures, microscopy, graphs, photographs, or anything else that highlights your work.

Images will be evaluated on a rolling basis and selected for inclusion. All images submitted prior to image selection will be considered (after you submit an image it will be considered for all subsequent weekly selections), so you only need to submit an image once.

Requirements:

The image must be an original work by you
You must own the copyright or have written permission of the copyright owner
You give us permission to post the image on the Indoor Air 2024 website and use it (with attribution to you) in other materials to promote the conference
Images must be appropriate and comply with the ISIAQ code of ethics (https://www.isiaq.org/isiaq_code_of_ethics.php)

I, the "Submitter," hereby grant the Indoor Air 2024 conference, Indoor Air Institute, The Ohio State University, i3 Events, University of Tulsa, other affiliates, licensees, successors and assignees (collectively, “Conference”) a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual (for the duration of the applicable copyright) license to make use of and make copies of my image and information provided in all types of media, as well as any component parts or files in connection with the Indoor Air 2024 conference. This license includes the rights for permanent archiving and public access, and to make derivative works, provided that the Conference credits my work by name. I understand that giving my permission is voluntary and does not alter the copyright or other rights to the work that I might hold. I understand that this license does not prevent me from entering into similar arrangements with other parties or from exercising any rights that I may have in the work. However, I understand that I may need to inform subsequent publishers or others that I have granted this preexisting permission. 

Submitter represents that they have authority to share the image for purposes of the conference (include more details about what you plan to do with the images). If the submission contains material for which the Submitter does not hold copyright, Submitter represents that have obtained permission from the copyright owner to share the work.

The rights granted to the Conference may be exercised in all media and formats whether now known or hereafter devised, and include the right to make such modifications as are technically necessary to exercise the rights in other media and formats. I certify that I have obtained proper permission for any third party material used within my work. The Conference is granted the right to use all of my work in any manner that it deems appropriate. This grant includes any physical or digital educational uses including, but not limited to, inclusion on the website, in conference promotional materials, exhibition, display, reformatting for preservation and access purposes, and making works available for research and scholarship.  

I waive the right to receive any payment for the Conference’s use of material described in this release. I also waive any right to inspect or approve finished photographs, audio, video, multimedia, or advertising recordings and copy or printed matter or computer generated scanned image and other electronic media.
