Thank you for your interest in Analytical work carried out by students of the Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business.
There are numerous project opportunities in both the undergraduate and graduate analytics curricula that can be a fit to your needs and interests in student involvement. Below is a general depiction of the kinds of project options and timelines available:
Further below we provide a more detailed timeline for Fall, Spring and Spring-Summer projects (specific times will change slightly by year). (Click below image to enlarge on a separate page)
For your own reference, projects aimed at undergraduate student work are typically taken on by student teams (with designated student liaisons to organizations), with deliverables that include proof-of-concept decision support tools and presentations (see examples at
www.blackbelt-apps.com). Student projects at the graduate Specialized Master in Business Analytics level are typically individual-student projects, entailing written reports , presentations and statistical documentation/code.
Projects accepted for consideration typically require organizations to provide data relevant to the context, and will require time allocated to dialogue between the originating organization and the student or team-liaison to ensure contextual understanding of the task and nature of the data set. here).
