Focus Group Discussion with Immigrant and Refugee Community Members

The City of Columbus City Council in partnership with The Ohio State University College of Social Work is conducting a city-wide study on the integration of immigrants and refugees into central Ohio. The study is focused on gathering a comprehensive understanding of a sense of belonging and inclusion among immigrant and refugee communities. To help us accomplish this aim, we are holding focus group discussions with immigrant and refugee community members. The focus group discussions will be an opportunity for you to share your experiences about a sense of belonging and inclusion in Columbus and provide ways you think the city could be more welcoming to newcomers.

The next focus group discussion will be:

Focus group #3: Thursday, May 18th, 2023
Time: 5:00pm to 7:00pm
Location: Columbus Metropolitan Library: Karl Road Branch, 5590 Karl Rd, Columbus, OH 43232

We would welcome your participation in this study! If you are interested in learning more about the focus group discussion, please provide your contact information below. An additional email will be sent to you a couple of days before the event.

If you have any questions or concerns about the research study, please contact Dr. Arati Maleku at maleku.1@osu.edu
