Thank you for your interest in the Honors Program at The Ohio State University at Marion. If you are an incoming first year student on the Marion campus, please complete the information below to complete early application to the program. The deadline to apply for these scholarships is Feb 1 of each year.

The application does not save in progress work, so we recommend saving your essay and short answer responses in a word document while you edit and until you are ready to submit.

If you are an incoming Marion campus student and would like to be considered for the $5,000 Davis Excellence Scholarship, please be prepared to submit your responses for the following two prompts. Two of these competitive scholarships will be awarded each spring. There is potential for them to be renewed each semester that you are enrolled as a Marion campus student.

1. Part of the mission of the University Honors Program is to support and promote the intellectual and personal growth of high-performing, motivated undergraduate students. What types of experiences have you encountered thus far that have contributed to your intellectual and personal growth? Please provide specific examples, and explain fully how these experiences have contributed to your success so far. How might being a member of the Honors Program continue that progression of success? 2. Tell us about a book that has influenced you, from any point in your life. Rather than retelling the story, please concentrate on why the book influenced you. (limit 2500 characters)
