ACUHO-I is proud to be a founding partner in the Higher Education Consortium for Student Affairs Certification. Certification has a tremendous benefit for the membership of ACUHO-I, as it demonstrates competencies and knowledge through ongoing work experience and continuing education. Achieving a CSAEd and CSAEd-HRL can assist in professional development and opportunities for career advancement.
ACUHO-I is excited to offer scholarships to current members to support their professional development. Scholarships are made possible through the generous donor support to the ACUHO-I Foundation.
Individuals may apply for up to $175 in scholarship support to cover either of the fees listed below:
- $149 for the CSAEd-HRL (Campus Housing and Residential Life) specialty exam concurrent with the CSAEd core exam
- $175 for the CSAEd-HRL exam only
Note that the CSAEd core exam must be taken either concurrently with or prior to the Campus Housing and Residential Life specialty exam.
Eligibility: Applicants must be current members of ACUHO-I and meet the eligibility requirements of the CSAEd certification program. No more than two applicants will be awarded per institution per certification window. Preference will be given to individuals who have not previously attempted the exam.
The submission of scholarship materials and selection of recipients will follow the Application and Exam Cycles set by the Higher Education Consortium for Student Affairs. The scholarship application will be open the first date of the application window and close two weeks before the exam application deadline to allow for scholarship review and selection.
If selected, ACUHO-I will pay the fees of the applicant directly to the Higher Education Consortium for Student Affairs.
